(MAKE SURE TO GIVE HIM AT LEAST 1 SCROLL BEFORE YOU BEAT THE ABYSS WATCHERS BOSS FIGHT, OR HE WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THE GAME, CANCELLING HIS QUEST FOR THIS PLAYTHROUGH). This is optional, but when he is at Firelink, buy 3 sorceries off him then speak to him to acquire the Young Dragon Ring, if you do not already have it by not starting as a Sorcerer.
